A pool is only as enjoyable as the space around it. In Caledon, where generous properties, rolling terrain, and four distinct seasons put real demands on outdoor construction, the difference between a pool deck that looks stunning on installation day and one that still performs a decade later comes down to design, materials, and craftsmanship.

At Pro-Loc Interlocking & Landscape Design Ltd., we’ve been building pool decks and surrounds across Toronto and the GTA since 2003. Our goal is simple: create a pool area that feels like a natural extension of your home — safe, elegant, and built to handle everything an Ontario climate throws at it.

Caledon isn’t downtown Toronto. Properties here tend to be larger, lot grades vary significantly, and the freeze-thaw cycle is unforgiving. A pool surround that isn’t engineered for local conditions will show it: settling pavers, heaved edges, drainage that pools water toward the house, and coping that separates from the shell after a few winters.

There’s also the matter of how the space is actually used. In Caledon, a pool deck is rarely just a pool deck. It’s the hub of the backyard — the spot where poolside lounging meets dining, entertaining, and evening relaxation. Getting Pool Decks & Surrounds Done Right in Caledon means planning for all of it from the first sketch.

A well-executed pool surround delivers on several fronts at once:

Pro-Loc is a full-service design/build firm, which means one team handles your project from concept through completion. You’re not coordinating a designer, an excavator, a paver crew, and a stone mason separately — we manage it.

That integrated approach matters most on complex pool projects, where the deck has to work in harmony with retaining walls, steps and stairs, porches, outdoor lighting, and plantings. We are a 9-Time HomeStars Best of Award winner, a recognition built on consistent workmanship and customer satisfaction across two decades of GTA projects.

Pool surrounds live or die by material choice and installation quality. We work with:

Because we also build fire features, water features, cabanas and pergolas, outdoor kitchens and bars, putting greens and sport courts, we can design a complete backyard destination rather than an isolated pool pad.

From Bolton and Caledon East to Palgrave, Inglewood, and the surrounding estate communities, we understand the local terrain — the elevation changes, the heavy clay soils, and the importance of drainage when snowmelt arrives. Combined with our experience across Toronto, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Georgetown, and beyond, we bring proven methods to every site.

Whether you’re upgrading an aging concrete surround, building a new pool deck from scratch, or integrating a pool into a larger landscape design, our team delivers residential and commercial work with the same standard of care.

If you’re ready to invest in a pool surround that looks exceptional and holds up season after season, Pool Decks & Surrounds Done Right in Caledon starts with a conversation. We’ll review your property, your goals, and your budget, then design a solution built around them.

Pro-Loc Interlocking & Landscape Design Ltd. Serving Toronto and the GTA — including Caledon — since 2003.
